The paintings are real, and so are the children
Every piece started as a painting made by a child at one of our partner art studios — mostly aged three to fourteen, in an ordinary art class, on paper, with whatever was on the table that day.
Their teacher photographs the finished painting on a phone. That photo is kept exactly as taken, permanently, because it is the record of what the child actually made.
We enhance the image, not the painting
A phone photo taken under classroom lighting does not show the painting as it is. We use AI to clean up the background, correct the colour back to what the paper and paint actually look like, and increase the resolution so the detail is there to see.
What we do not do is change the painting. Nothing is added, removed, or redrawn. The shapes and colour relationships are the child's decisions, and they stay that way — the teacher compares the before and after and can reject any result they are not happy with.
So the image on a listing is an AI-enhanced version of a child's original. We say that on every product page, because it would be dishonest not to. It is what your painter works from, too.
A painter makes yours, once you order it
What you buy is a hand-painted oil reproduction. Nothing is painted in advance and nothing is printed: when your order comes in, we brief a painter we work with, they paint your piece, and it ships when it is finished.
That takes weeks, and that is the product rather than a delay. We will not give you a date we cannot hold — your order page shows where the painting actually is, and we email you when it moves.
We do not sell the digital file, and we do not give it away. The image on a listing is free to look at, full size, and that is all it is for. The child's original painting is never sold either — the family keeps it.
The room photos are mockups
The images showing artwork hanging on a wall are digitally generated — nobody photographed that print in that room. They are there to show scale and style, and every one is captioned as a mockup.
They always show the actual artwork you would receive, at its real proportions. We never stage an embellished or substitute version.
No child is identified
We never publish a student's name, photograph, school, or exact age. The credit on a listing is an age band and a country — enough to tell you a child made it, not enough to find them.
Nothing is listed at all until that child's guardian has signed a consent form, and they can withdraw it.
A share of every sale goes back
When a piece sells, a share goes to the young artist's family and a share goes to their art studio. We report to both every quarter and pay by transfer, with a statement showing every sale behind the figure.
That is the reason to buy here rather than commissioning a painting anywhere else: the child who made the original benefits from it.
